Grand Cru Schoenenbourg: large clay-marl terroir with southeast exposure. Ideal for late harvests and for making great ageing wines.
Winemaking
Harvested by hand. Sorting in the vineyard. Direct pressing of whole grapes. No sulfur under the press. Natural sourdough. Aged on fine lees for 6-9 months. Filtered wine.
Tasting and gastronomy
Golden yellow color, expressive mineral, compote and complex nose.
Thick and straightforward on the palate, with acidity that lasts. Pair with fish, shellfish, seafood, white meats and sauerkraut.
