Grape variety
100% Pinot Gris
Pinot gris is a white, lightly colored grape variety. Once macerated, the result is a beautifully rosé wine.

Vineyard
30-year-old vines. Planting density: 5000 plants/ha.
Tillage: ploughing, composting, mowing. Treatments: Bordeaux mixture, sulfur, plant infusions and seaweed extracts.

Terroir
Grafenreben: a Lias marl-clay terroir with a limestone reaction.

Winemaking
Skin maceration to extract the aromas and just the right amount of tannins needed to preserve this low-sulfite wine.
Aged for 6 months in oak barrels to strengthen its structure and soften its tannins.
Pressing before the end of alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation. Aged for 6 months partly in oak barrels. Unfiltered wine.
Low in residual sugars.

Tasting and gastronomy
The unique, bright pink color is brilliant and transparent. The nose is discreet, with floral notes. The palate is surprisingly dry, rounding out with smoky, red-fruit notes. Powerful finish
and slightly woody, with protective and preserving tannins.
A perfect accompaniment to starters, tapas, grilled fish or fish in sauce, white meats or duck breast.
